HISTORY

I started playing the drums back in 1978 after hearing my first KISS record.  My major drumming influences during my early years were - Peter Criss, Alex Van Halen, & Neil Peart.  After several years of putting on their records and playing everyday learning their songs, I was introduced to my current drum influence - Steve Smith (Journey, Vital Information, Various Artists).

 

Since that time, I've been in numerous bands ranging from Heavy Metal to Country.  Growing up in New Jersey, I had the opportunity to consistently play the NY/NJ Tri-State club circuit where my bands had the honor and privilege to share the stage with such heavy-hitters as:  Skid Row, Don Dokken, Peter Criss of Kiss, Heavens Edge, Danger Danger, White Lion, Quiet Riot, and Kix, just to name a few.

 

I've appeared on multiple recordings and CD’s with many bands, but my greatest accomplishment to date is my time in the all original U.S. Power Metal band – OVERLORDE from New Jersey.  Signed to Sonic Age Records out of Greece, we released our critically-acclaimed “come-back” CD entitled, “Return of the Snow Giant”, and we were able to tour parts of the U.S. and Europe in support of the release.  Overlorde’s 2005 performance at the “Keep It True IV” Festival in Germany was also recorded and made into a DVD.
